The Wild Rice Festival will be here before you know it; Sunday, Sept. 13.  Look for special commemorative items in the Silent Auction, as well as a new booth or two and specials in the snack booth.  There will be 2 additional prizes for buying or selling your raffle tickets, so your chances of winning will be a little better.  Start thinking about items to donate for the Silent Auction, such as theme baskets, new items (especially things for men), unique or antique, or even used items in excellent condition.           The craft booth, used book booth, cherry tree, bakery booth and country fair are always needing donations as well.  Start gathering paperback books, planning your crafting, growing, baking and shopping sales before summer is gone.       Please also think about co-chairing the Festival, or chairing the Used book booth or the Beer Wagon.  This would be a wonderful way for some newer parishioners to get to know our parish family a little better, and make great new friends.       Our goal this year is $40,000 profit for our 40th Anniversary of the Wild Rice Festival.  With all of us participating, this will definitely be possible.  Thank you!
